Quote: Elon Musk

"All federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week," Musk posted on X. "Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation."

Do you agree with it? Do you agree with the way they go about it? How do you feel this would hurt, help, or do nothing to the American economy?

Well, I'm all for accountability. But I want it applied to the social welfare programs. I've heard that they have done some work on the food stamps, but I feel like more of the programs need to come under review. I've seen a lot of abuse in those programs over the years.

I'm fine with doing it as a government employee as long as there is some clear instruction on what we can or cannot disclose.

They already fired several dozen required employees through many branches (like those in charge of our NUCLEAR WEAPONS) and are trying to get them back among others like firing more airport staff even after several recent air plane incidents.

Haste makes waste, and Trump is brewing a large vat of waste.

A problem with firing a lot of people, cutting programs, and wanting to annex Canada is it makes a lot of enemies. I don't think Trump will survive the midterms with so many enemies and the Republicans might not survive the 2028 election.

Pretty sure they will lose one of their footholds in the next election, if things don't go insane before then.

I'm not a fan of government charity, but will there be jobs to replace the charity? Some places in the US are job deserts, nothing to be found, so government aid is what a lot of people want.
