Who performs music? What do you play? When did you first learn it? Where have you studied it? How advanced are you?

Is there any newbie who wants to get into music performance? Is there anyone who plays, but wants to learn a new instrument?

I don't perform or make music to save my life, but I would love to if I had better social skills.

I play drums, guitar, bass guitar, and piano. I used to play violin, mandolin, trumpet, and saxophone. Anyway, drums have always been my best instrument, followed by guitar and I made a lot of progress on violin when I did know it.

I started piano lessons in 2nd grade. Unfortunately, I never got passed the intermediate level. I started guitar lessons in middle school. I started playing drums and violin in high school. I learned drums in a public-school setting. I took violin lessons along with my guitar ones. I studied classical violin and fiddle.

I took trumpet and saxophone lessons in high school. I learned bass guitar and mandolin on my own. Anyway, the bass guitar has the same notes as the lower strings of a guitar.
