I read for entertainment purposes, however, I also read as a way to relieve stress. Reading is usually the last thing I do before I go to bed. It helps me to wind down from a long day at work because it gets my mind off things.
February 15Feb 15 I don't tend to read as much now as I used to when I was younger but I always remember when I was younger, I used to read to escape away from the world, it was always my getaway if I'd had a bad day.

It's a way to escape after a long day at work. It allows me to redirect my attention to something else that I find entertaining.
February 17Feb 17 A lot of my reading is about the news or social media stuff. In fact, it's most of it. Do you all feel that's "junk food reading"? Edited February 17Feb 17 by Jason

Besides the entertainment value, it gets my mind off of the stress of the day from working and allows me to focus on something else. It's a bit of a stress reliever for me.

Why do you like reading? Why is reading a favorite past time of yours?
