Do you prefer to buy your books from a book store? If so, where do you normally shop at?

Or do you prefer to get your books from your local library?

How much time do you normally spend at your local book store or library?

I don’t prefer to buy books from a physical book store, I tend to buy my books where they’re the most convenient or cheapest price.

I haven’t been to my local library since I moved down here, it’s a little sketchy looking.

Depends on if I’m waiting on something or just stopped in to browse, so 30 minutes to a few hours?

I haven’t visited my local library in quite a while. The last time I went to the library was when I was reading through the Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events series. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like that series so I check the books out from my local library in order to read them. I didn’t want to spend the money on them if I didn’t end up liking the series.

I normally go to my local book store because I can buy what I want and not have to worry about returning books to the library. I’m not on a time limit on reading the books that are mine.

I can spend hours at the book store if I’m left to my own devices.

This is why I like Kindle Unlimited. It saves on spending money for series I don’t need to.

What’s the longest amount of time you’ve spent in a book store?

I’ve not tried Kindle Unlimited because I don’t read my e-books on my Kindle that often. I normally use my Kindle when I’m traveling because it allows me to take a bunch of reading material with me without it taking up much room in my carry on.

My hubby went to a convention once and I stayed in the book store the entire time he was there. I think I was in there for about 5 or 6 hours, at least. I could live at the book store.

Absolutely! He won’t go with me any time I go to the book store. He’s not really a big reader like I am and that’s okay. Eventually I can get him to go watch the movie with me if they make a movie base on a book.

I don't read much so if there was something I wanted to read, I might want to own it. For instance, I really enjoy Robert Kiyosaki's books on finance and they would be nice to have around the house. Also, any books on music performance or school subjects (I'm studying to be a tutor.) would be better owned.

If browsing, the bookstore, since it's easier to go around and not be overwhelmed. If getting, then the library since books cost a lot these days.

If I am unsure if I'm going to like a particular book or not, I will visit my local library to check them out. This way, I'm not out any money (and being stuck with the book) if I don't end up liking the book.

If I'm really interested in a book, then I go to my local book store. This way, I can purchase the book and not be on any kind of a time limit on reading it.

Eh true, but if you go to the library enough and not getting anything popular, you can just keep checking out the book.

I'd like to get into reading books on math or science (for tutor preparation). They got one at my local library on Organic Chemistry.

Well, I'm simply sick of technology. There's nothing like just reading a printed book.
