I don't have one favorite, but I would have to say the three in the original trilogy (from the 70s-80s era) were the best. I saw them at the theater in 1997 (for the anniversary). I can't explain why they are better. I guess it's just having the cast of characters it had. It's the same reason why I prefer the old Star Trek crew.
