Shiny Happy People
REM produced this song, and it was a mockery of feel-good pop music. Anyway, though, the point I'm getting at is "How can people feel that way when real threats are abounded?". For instance, how can people have a bleeding-heart liberal philosophy when probably the Chinese would like to conquer the US and make us slaves?

Do you feel like people are in an ideology bubble?
Myself, I try to be more independent thinking, but certainly a lot of people can't stand other ideologies. They will either bully someone from another ideology or they will ignore them. Anyway, I feel like such behavior can be annoying, but I can see how people would feel more comfortable among "their own kind", so to speak. A situation otherwise could feel like harassment.

Does Brain Injury Hurt Reading Ability?
I had a major concussion February of last year. It pretty much zapped my enthusiasm to do anything. In fact, I would have rather just stayed in bed all day. It pretty much turns you into a baby.

Book vs Movie Adaptation
Some Stephen King adaptations seem cheesy, like Pet Cemetary, so I'd say the book might be better. I mean; to check out the book wouldn't hurt nothing. Anyway, who can list specific cheesy movie adaptations?

Reading Print Books in the Past
In the past, I used to frequent bookstores to browse the books. I would read a lot of them. That was the last in-print reading that I was into. Anyway, I'd like to get back into reading physics and math textbooks because I want more certifications, but I like listening to the human voice (video tutorials). Note: I can get into reading books, but my attention has turned to mush.

Would you ever stop reading?
Reading isn't a problem with me, but online addiction is. Going without technology, or even just social media would be a big thing. Anyway, if I went to prison that would be the situation and I'd have to get into reading print books, ha ha.

Problems with Social Media
There are always people who can't stop talking. You know those people from back in school, and social media feeds it. But people who can't stop talking can be entertaining, though it often leads to bullying.

AI Supremacy in Warfare
It's too late for banning AI. It's kind of the same thing that happened with nuclear weapons (back in 1945 etc.) Do you feel like humans could even ban something that their intellect is bound to produce at some point?

AI Supremacy in Warfare
If a nation gets AI supremacy, it could spell doom for everyone else, and the big candidate these days is China, because it's way ahead of the game. Well, do you feel your nation is not doing enough to ensure competency in math and science? What can be done?

The Official 'My job sucks, here's why...' Thread
My job sucks because it may not exist in the future. Robots are taking over everything, lol. Well, this is a different answer than you would expect, because I have no complaints with the job, it being graveyard shift, or the pay, but my dishwashing job did pay around 5 dollars more an hour.

Problems with Social Media
It's well known that the whole "likes" thing on Facebook is a copy of what you see in Las Vegas (slot machines etc.). In other words, people get a dopamine rush from stuff getting liked. Anyway, though, I am cynical about likes for other reasons also. Well, it seems like it's become the domain of popular posters who get likes for whatever they post, no matter how dumb, while unpopular posters are not rewarded, even for interesting or funny material.

Do people joke around too much?
I like to get on Facebook and posts memes. I try to avoid sexual ones, but you know, even the non-sexual ones probably ruin my Christian witness. But then again, are Christians supposed to always be serious? Myself, I don't think life is all about laughter. Sometimes people need just be quiet and contemplate.

Do people need to move on from identity politics?
This month is Black History Month, and of course, some right-wingers are going to mock the situation, but I can see their viewpoint to some extent, though. Well, I have a disability, but I don't really like the "disability help scene". What I mean is that it's sort of emasculating and there's more to people than the disability.

Ask me things!
The avatar is interesting. Where is it from? What is the origin of your screenname?

I don't really have one. I haven't really gotten into that stuff.

Wolt Lab Forum Software
Wolt Lab is a German company. It has the cheapest premium forum software. Who has heard of it? Do you feel they have a good deal, or is this low price deceptive? Myself, I've been wanting to try it, but probably it will be in the future.

Elon Musk and His Gaining Hold of Taxpayer Information
Does anyone feel that Biden was too soft on people cheating the system? That would be the argument of pro-Trump people. Myself, I know plenty of people are cheating the system, but then again, I don't trust Musk's meddling.

Forum Software
A lot of people have turned against MyBB lately. How do you feel about that? Myself, I've seen that the MyAlerts mod has gotten very difficult to deal with.

Book vs Movie Adaptation
There have been good movie versions made, but it's a whole other thing to read the book for yourself. For instance, there's nothing like reading the gospels in the Bible, but that's not saying some good Jesus movies haven't been made. Anyway, do you feel the book versions are better in many cases, or is the opposite true? What have you experienced?

Computer Programming

Ask Jason
No, I guess I could pick something else besides my real name now, but I just haven't thought about it.

Music Performance
Who performs music? What do you play? When did you first learn it? Where have you studied it? How advanced are you? Is there any newbie who wants to get into music performance? Is there anyone who plays, but wants to learn a new instrument?

Ask me things!
That sound awesome. Well, I know that Mississippi is known for the Blues, so the question popped in my head.

Elon Musk and His Gaining Hold of Taxpayer Information
Do you agree or disagree with it? Why is that that the case? What do you feel might be Musk's motive for his action? Do you feel it's legal? What things might Musk do once he gains hold of what he wants?
