Well, right now you can get my first book for free if you have Kindle Unlimited....you only have to pay the price for the book if you don't have Kindle Unlimited.

I can understand that, however, they could have done a little bit more to make the different houses a little bit more different besides just changing up one side quest.

I would say about average so far. This is just my first book. My second book and third book come out later this year. I was wondering if that'll change when they come out this year.

I thought they could make more differences with the gameplay depending on which house you were in. There was only one difference in one of the quests depending on your house…….everything else was the same.

It actually wasn’t that bad…..I published it through KDP (short for Kindle Direct Publishing). It’s a great way to get your stuff out there for the world to see, however, if you go this route then you’ll only be available to sell your stuff on Amazon. Like a lot of stuff, there are pro’s and con’s to both sides of the issue. You just have to find what you believe is right for you.
  6. I had to get a new controller for my PS4 for that reason. I played Hogwarts: Legacy so much that some of the buttons were starting to stick…….like really bad. Anyway, I’m still bouncing back and forth between Mario and Luigi Brothership and Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.
  7. I’d be up for reading this next. I just have to finish reading Onyx Storm before someone drops a spoiler on me (not talking about anyone from this forum).
  8. Every once in a while, I’ll have a Harry Potter movie marathon. I’m thinking about doing another Harry Potter movie marathon right before they do the tv show that is suppose to come out next year…….
  9. I haven’t read any of the books I mentioned before. I wasn’t sure what others would like so I just threw some suggestions out there.

It is cloudy today. It’s suppose to start raining sometime in the overnight tonight and into tomorrow. I think we are under a “flood watch” or something like that……
  11. The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick The Book of Stolen Dreams by David Farr The Overnight Guest by Heather GudenKauf The Unlikely Predator by Wayne Hancock Mimi’s Tales of Terror by Junji Ito I can list a whole lot of books for this……..
  12. I’m sitting here digesting for a minute after I ate dinner.
  13. I don’t think I’d ever stop either. I don’t know that I would take the money. Like you said, reading is harmless…….how many people do you know of have complained about your book being too loud? If I lost my eyesight, I would probably make the switch to audiobooks or something like that.

That’s fine. Thank you for reading the excerpt that I posted.
  15. Same here! I read for entertainment purposes, however, I also read as a way to relieve stress. Reading is usually the last thing I do before I go to bed. It helps me to wind down from a long day at work because it gets my mind off things.
  16. A good book will also keep me coming back to it. If the storylines within the book aren’t holding my attention then it will be a struggle for me to finish. I’ve learned in the last year or two that if I don’t like a book then it’s okay to put the book down and move on to something else.
  17. I’ve seen some people reading those books but I’ve not read them myself. The Blood Bond series by Helen Hardt would have to do it for me. I tried reading that series last year and I couldn’t finish it. I can deal with books that have a little romance in them but the storylines have to be good enough to hold my attention. But when the book is nothing but two characters having intercourse or the book is nothing but how attracted two characters are towards each other, that’s kind of off putting. That’s not a story……that’s just shoving sex in someone’s face constantly.
  18. I’m posting a little on some forums before I have to run off to work.
  19. That’d be awesome! If it’s not too much trouble, that is…… I’d also appreciate having a spoiler bbcode/tag. I’d use it pretty regularly, at least when I’m in the book section so that I don’t reveal spoilers unless someone wants to read them.
  20. Why do you like reading? Why is reading a favorite past time of yours?
  21. Do you ever feel guilty for not reading a particular book? Why or why not?
  22. What are 5 books someone can’t convince you to read? Why?
  23. Have you ever found yourself in a reading slump? What do you do to get yourself out of a reading slump?
  24. @Daedalus Last I checked, they said it should arrive at my house on Friday. I was planning on avoiding that particular thread once I received my copy so that I don’t end up reading any spoilers by accident. I will admit, it is a pet peeve of mine when someone reveals spoilers from a book I’m currently reading. I don’t do it to someone else unless they give me their permission first.
  25. I haven’t really heard anything yet. I normally take rumors with a grain of salt until I see an actual trailer. Since the series has already been made into movies, everyone that has seen the movies are going to have a certain idea of what all the characters are suppose to look like already. This is a reboot. More than likely this is going to have a completely different set of actors than what they used for the movies, or that’s what I’m expecting anyway.
